Watchdog Systems launches new site for locum tenens provider Medicus

We're pleased to announce the launch of a brand new site, Medicus, on our hosted content management system platform. They are one of the premier locum tenens companies, and this platform allows them to update and manage their site as situations warrant.

New Screencast: Whirlwind Tour of the Roller Weblogger

We've posted a new screencast in the demos section. It's a whirlwind tour of the Roller Weblogger application. We've set up Roller for several customers, and found it to be scalable and capable. This screencast is intended to help customers who are interested in installing roller, but want to see it in action first. You can see the screencast here.

Hosted OpenCMS upgraded- new editors added

The hosted openCMS instance has been upgraded to version 6.0.3; we've also been able to upgrade the Wysiwyg editors for firefox users.

New Screencast: Getting Started with tortoiseSVN

We've posted a new screencast in the demos section, "Getting Started with Subversion and TortoiseSVN". It's a quick tour of the excellent TortoiseSVN tool, and demonstrates most of what a developer needs to do in their day to day work.

HalfPint Studios Launches

Our newest hosted website, http://www.halfpintstudios.com/ just launched. The site features great information about Halfpint Studios and Halfpint University, a series of workshops for musical theater artists to learn how to maximize their potential.

Hosted Bugzilla upgraded to 2.20

We've just completed upgrading our hosted bugzilla instance to version 2.20. This version has a ton of new features; it also has a significantly updated look and feel.

PageChecker Download Available

There's a new script available for download- it's a simple pageChecker utility, that watches a given website for changes and emails you the differences. You can download it from the downloads section of the site.

New Presentation Available: Agency Support Overview

There's a new presentation available in the downloads section. It's a detailed overview of our interactive agency support services.

OpenCMS Google Sitemapper Available

Well, this is barely news but there's a script available in the downloads area that will automatically build google-compatible sitemaps for an openCMS site (http://www.opencms.org ). This means that the sitemaps are kept up to date automatically, each time you publish your site, so the next time Google does a pickup, any changes wil be noted.

Watchdog Relaunches Website

Well, we finally did it- here's the new version of the Watchdog Systems website. Frankly, we've been way too busy on client work (and tooling around on the boat!) to spend enough time on corporate marketing chores. Still the new site is done, and we'd love to hear what you think.

RyeCitizensFirst.org launches!

http://www.ryecitizensfirst.org is a brand new site to support a new, non-partisan, political party in Rye New York. Watchdog's first Pro Bono project, this site leverages the Watchdog Systems hosted CMS service, to provide these outsiders with a robust platform to get their message out.
